"Where In The World Can You Find Volvo’s Sunken Treasure Chest? "

Last year, we all had to find out where Volvo buried the pirate-themed Volvo XC90. This time around, as part of their tie-in with the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End movie, Volvo is hiding a treasure chest. And it is not going to get buried. It is going to get submerged somewhere deep in the ocean.

This new Volvo treasure chest comes with gold doubloons which amount to $50,000. And it also includes the key to another new Volvo XC90. And if you are the lucky one to find that treasure chest, you get to keep the gold and the vehicle. Or you may be lucky enough to find a sunken vehicle that still has perhaps some Superchips functioning.

To be able to take home the treasure, you must go through various challenges like solving online puzzles and games. You must be at least 18 years old to join this one though. If you are residents of the United States, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand, then you sure can be part of Volvo's The Hunt.

Linda Gangeri is the national advertising manager of Volvo Cars' North American arm. She expresses, "Okay, okay. Maybe it is a stretch to call The Hunt one of the greatest mysteries of the deep, but it certainly has got a lot of people flummoxed. We thought some of our more prodigious participants might enjoy pitting their wit and skill against some age-old mysteries... but even if they solve them, the only way to get your hands on Volvo's treasure is by joining our Hunt!"

Volvo also does continue to discuss that once you are part of The Hunt, you may also be able to get to learn more about the greatest mysteries that the deep waters have kept secret for long. This includes the mysterious giant squids and eels at Suruga Bay in Japan, the ghost ship Mary Celeste, the secrets behind the Bermuda Triangle, and the power of sirens' and mermaids' voices.
